The obvious purpose of a dual wheel caster is to offer more floor contact for equipment considered to be top heavy, such as electronic cabinets or heavy furniture. The combination of larger surface areas and the low overall height allow these duals to maneuver well in tight areas and under heavy loads.

The two separate distinct ball races make for the easiest swiveling possible. Heat treated, with a longer service life. Shouldered axles are replaceable. Zinc plated.
